Over September 23rd and 24th, the Atlantic provinces were struck by Hurricane Fiona causing extensive damage. In an effort to assist our fellow Canadians, Town Centre Private Schools held a special school-wide initiative to raise funds for the Canadian Red Cross Relief Efforts for Hurricane Fiona in Eastern Canada.
The Canadian Red Cross is working to get help to people in and around affected areas as quickly as possible and provide humanitarian assistance for new needs as they arise. Money raised will enable the Red Cross to carry out relief, recovery, resiliency and risk reduction activities in and beyond the region at the individual and community levels.
Collectively TCPS raised $1,930.50 for the Red Cross Relief Fund. This amount will be matched by the provincial government. Thank you to our students, parents and staff for their generosity.
