Town Centre Private Schools recently hosted the much-anticipated 2025 TED Talks for Grades 5 and 7, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of our young students. The event was a resounding success, with students presenting on a wide range of thought-provoking topics. We are thrilled to announce the top three winners from each grade, who impressed the judges with their insightful and impactful presentations.

Grade 5 Winners

  1. Rahi B. – Why We Should Adapt Artificial Intelligence into Education Rahi captivated the audience with a compelling argument on the benefits of integrating AI into educational systems, highlighting how it can enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
  2. Kaitlyn Z. – Technological Advancements Taking Over Our Health Kaitlyn’s presentation shed light on the rapid advancements in technology and their implications for our health, urging us to consider both the benefits and potential risks.
  3. Riya S. – Processed and Packaged Foods: What’s Really on Our Plates Riya delivered an eye-opening talk on the hidden dangers of processed and packaged foods, encouraging healthier eating habits and greater awareness of food choices.

Grade 7 Winners

  1. Saiyuri C. – Sugar: A Thriller but a Killer Saiyuri’s engaging presentation explored the addictive nature of sugar and its detrimental effects on health, advocating for reduced sugar consumption and healthier alternatives.
  2. Petra Y. – Speak No Evil Petra’s thought-provoking talk addressed the importance of mindful communication and the impact of our words on others, promoting kindness and empathy in our interactions.
  3. Ella A. – Are Social Determinants of Health Keeping Us Back from Living Healthier Lives? Ella highlighted the significant role of social determinants in health outcomes, calling for greater attention to these factors to improve overall well-being.

Congratulations to Rahi B. and Saiyuri C. for winning first place! ? We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Rahi, Kaitlyn, Riya, Saiyuri, Petra, and Ella for their outstanding achievements. Their dedication and passion for their topics were truly inspiring. We also commend all the participants for their hard work and creativity, making this year’s TED Talks a memorable event.
