The annual Elementary Summer Camp Day on May 31st was a huge success with students from grades 1 to 4 dressed in their house colours eagerly participating in all the activities. Taking advantage of the wonderful weather, events including Drip, Drip, Drop, Face Painting, Sponge Race, What Time is it Mr. Shark? and Rock, Paper, Scissors to name a few took place outdoors in our playfield. The laughter and enjoyment was infectious.
For students in grades 5 to 8, they had their own popular Track and Field Day held at our local Highgate Park. The Physical Education department organized a variety of track and field activities that the students enjoyed. This event included 100m Sprint, 400m Race, Hurdles, Shot Put, Javelin Throw and Standing Long Jump, all intended to foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and fitness.
It was a great day for both students and staff.
