On February 16th, we had our annual Gr. 5 and Gr. 7 TED Talks in the gymnasium. The 8 Gr. 5 finalists along with the 9 Gr. 7 finalists delivered their talk to the student body, parents, and judges. These 17 finalists had some very impressive and advanced topics ranging from How Gaming affects the Health of Youths Everywhere, Decline of Canada’s Healthcare, Music Therapy and Its Effects on Patients with Dementia and Is Gen Z Prepared for the Workforce to name a few. The talks were well thought out, informative and showed a level of maturity beyond their years. We are very proud of all the finalists and would like to congratulate them for their outstanding achievement.
