Our enriching journey to Quebec City spanned three days, filled with cultural exploration, scenic beauty, and historical immersion. On day one, we departed at 8:30 am, making rest stops and having lunch on route. Upon arriving at 6:00 pm, we Enjoyed a buffet dinner at Tomas Tam – Vanier. Following dinner, we embarked on an Orientation walking tour of Upper Town, guided by Activities Directors, and participated in a City Exploration Rally.
Day two began with a scenic countryside tour along the Beaupré Coast. Highlights included visits to a copper museum, Sainte-Anne Basilica, Canyon Ste-Anne, and Montmorency Falls. Returning to the hotel, we freshened up before an evening excursion to Old Quebec City for a traditional meal and entertainment at Érablière-du-Cap, concluding with a taffy pull.
On day three, we departed for a battlefield workshop on the Plains of Abraham, followed by a leisurely stroll along Promenade des Gouverneurs. Free time for lunch and shopping on rue St-Jean preceded a Discovery Walk of Lower Town, complemented by a City Exploration Rally with time for exploration and souvenir shopping. We gathered for our final dinner at Le Buffet des Continents, concluding our adventure with fond memories as we departed from Quebec City. This meticulously planned trip ensured an immersive and educational experience, offering unforgettable moments for every participant in our group.
