June 21st marked a special day on the TCPS High School calendar with the Grade 12 Graduation. Wearing their caps and gowns for their final day at TCPS, students came to the stage to be presented with their Ontario Secondary School Diplomas (OSSD). In addition to receiving their OSSD’s, graduates were also recognized with certificates and plaques for Honour Roll for achieving an overall average of 80% or higher and Principal’s List having achieved an overall average of 90% or higher. Sixteen graduates were presented with full IB Diplomas. It’s a momentous occasion for these students as they transition to the next chapter of their lives!
Special commendations were also awarded to those who excelled in specific subjects. Congratulations to the grade 8 students who were recognized for demonstrating initiative, enthusiasm, and genuine interest and ability and achieved the highest grade in the following subject areas:

This year’s valedictorian, Ethan B. shared a wonderful speech with his fellow graduates. It was a day filled with great memories and fond farewells.
Our students will be heading off to the University of Toronto, McMaster University, Western University, Toronto Metropolitan University, York University, University of British Columbia and Western University to name a few. Scholarships have been granted to 83% of the TCPS graduating classes.
