As the end of another school year approached, senior students excitedly anticipated the prom. In preparation for this special night, the prom committee was very busy making beautiful invitations, table place cards, creating decorations and assembling gift bags for all the grade 12 students and their guests. The theme this year was “Red Carpet Hollywood” and the event was held at the Oakville Terrace in Richmond Hill on May 30th. The hall was decorated with red, black and gold balloons along with beautiful floral arrangements for table centerpieces. The students put together the playlist for both dinner and dancing. A TCPS tradition, each student, as nominated collectively by the grade 12 graduating class, was presented with a fun award, certificate and mini oscar.
