The March 23rd STEM Fair provided students in grades 6 and 8 with the opportunity to apply the scientific method to conduct independent research on a topic of their choice. The students’ efforts were displayed in the Main Gymnasium where finalists presented their projects to fellow students, parents and judges. Students were evaluated on proper usage of the scientific method, demonstrating an understanding of the topic, display and verbal presentation. Congratulations to this year’s winners of the annual STEM Fair!

The top 5 students in grade 8 will advance to the York Region STEM Fair at York University on Saturday, April 1st.
