STRIVE Club Fundraising for UNICEF Humanitarian Aid ReliefHigh School NewsTCPS News News TCPS News Pre-School News Elementary School News High School News This year, the high school STRIVE Club (Students Taking Responsibility and Initiative for Volunteering Everywhere) aimed to raise $2,000 for UNICEF Humanitarian Aid Relief. With 25 dedicated members, the club organized various fundraising events: September to December: Civvies Day allowed students to wear casual, school-appropriate clothing for $5 per day. October: Halloween Movie Night featured pizza, chips, pop, and Halloween Gift Baskets Raffle. November: Timbit Sale and Cookie Sale. December: Candy Cane Sale. January: Boba Tea Sale in collaboration with Chatime and a Boys’ Basketball Buyout Game, which saw over 50% of high school students in attendance. Looking ahead to February, the STRIVE Club plans to hold food sales and raffle basket draws at the Grade 7-12 Talent Show. They are also exploring springtime volunteering opportunities. Thus far, STRIVE has raised $1,350, bringing them closer to their $2,000 goal. Thank you for your continued support and participation in our fundraising efforts.
