This year, the high school STRIVE Club (Students Taking Responsibility and Initiative for Volunteering Everywhere) aimed to raise $2,000 for UNICEF Humanitarian Aid Relief. With 25 dedicated members, the club organized various fundraising events:
- September to December: Civvies Day allowed students to wear casual, school-appropriate clothing for $5 per day.
- October: Halloween Movie Night featured pizza, chips, pop, and Halloween Gift Baskets Raffle.
- November: Timbit Sale and Cookie Sale.
- December: Candy Cane Sale.
- January: Boba Tea Sale in collaboration with Chatime and a Boys’ Basketball Buyout Game, which saw over 50% of high school students in attendance.
Looking ahead to February, the STRIVE Club plans to hold food sales and raffle basket draws at the Grade 7-12 Talent Show. They are also exploring springtime volunteering opportunities. Thus far, STRIVE has raised $1,350, bringing them closer to their $2,000 goal.
Thank you for your continued support and participation in our fundraising efforts. Together, we can make a significant impact through our contributions to UNICEF Humanitarian Aid Relief.
