The day was meticulously planned to blend hands-on learning experiences with a glimpse into university life. In the morning session, the grade 9 and 10 students participated in a STEM workshop, designing, purchasing materials, and building their creations. Meanwhile, the grade 11 students enjoyed a campus tour, exploring various facilities. The groups then switched places, with grade 9 and 10 students touring the campus and grade 11 students engaging in their STEM workshop. At noon, everyone gathered at the Student Centre for lunch, providing a chance to relax and reflect on the morning’s activities. The afternoon featured diverse activities tailored to each grade level. Grade 9 students attended a planetarium show, grade 10 students participated in team-building exercises, and grade 11 students tackled the low ropes course. The visit was a resounding success, offering TCPS students’ academic enrichment and personal growth. Student leaders tested all models created during the STEM workshops and awarded the top team.
