On April 18th, grade 11 and grade 12 students participated in an in-person, interactive Forensics Science workshop, hosted by Dr. Luk and Ms. Gapinska, from the University of Toronto. This workshop was composed of a general overview of forensic science and hands-on activities, where emphasis was placed on impression evidence and spectroscopy. Fingerprinting techniques demonstrated how different types of light are used to reveal evidence and learn about the inherent properties of matter.
Thank you to Dr. Luk, Ms. Gapinska and the University of Toronto for this unique workshop and exploration into the world of forensics.
