The TCPS 2021 STEM Fair was a new and interesting experience for all. Students in grade 6 and 8 had the opportunity to apply the scientific method to conduct independent research on a topic of their choice. Held virtually on March 10th for grade 8 and March 17th for grade 6, students created their presentation boards, but this year they presented them virtually to the judges and fellow students. Each class was able to visit the Main Gymnasium to view the STEM projects and enjoy virtual presentations from the 24 finalists.
Students were evaluated on proper usage of the scientific method, demonstrating and understanding the topic, display and verbal presentation. Congratulations to this year’s winners of the annual STEM Fair!
