As a part of Earth Day activities on April 22nd, the grade 8 classes of Town Centre Private Schools participated in an Earth Day Clean-Up at Highgate Park as part of an IB Middle Years Programme Community Project. Earth Day is an annual global event that aims to bring awareness to environmental issues. The TCPS team collected garbage filling several bags with the refuse. Our very own Ward 8 Councillor, Isa Lee, stopped by the park for a meet and greet with our students. It was gratifying for the students to be personally thanked by Councillor Lee for “pitching in” to help keep Markham beautiful. TCPS continues to be a proud City of Markham supporter!
